Dear Visitors,
EU-India partnership has emerged as one of the most significant relationships in the global economy, driven by shared values, economic complementarities, innovation, sustainability, and a common commitment to progress.
In today's changing global scenario, the recent conclusion of negotiations for the EU-India Free Trade Agreement marks an important milestone, opening new possibilities for trade, investment, innovation, and sectoral cooperation. It also strengthens the Council's role as a platform for dialogue, business engagement, and deeper EU-India collaboration.
The Council of EU Chambers of Commerce in India (EU Chambers) has been a dedicated platform for strengthening this relationship by promoting dialogue, collaboration, and meaningful engagement between European and Indian stakeholders. As President, I am pleased to see the Council continuing to play an active role in connecting businesses, industry leaders, government representatives, diplomatic missions, academic institutions, and professionals through initiatives that support trade, investment, knowledge exchange, and long-term cooperation.
In a rapidly changing global environment, partnerships such as EU-India assume greater importance. Businesses today are navigating technological transformation, sustainability imperatives, evolving supply chains, and new market dynamics. EU and India are well positioned to work together in areas such as advanced manufacturing, clean energy, digital transformation, infrastructure, healthcare, education, innovation, and skills development. The Council remains committed to enabling these conversations and creating platforms that encourage responsible growth and future-ready collaboration.
Over the years, the Council has strengthened its role as a trusted bridge between the EU and India through conferences, policy discussions, business delegations, sector-focused engagements, networking platforms, and knowledge-led initiatives. These efforts are aimed at creating tangible value for our members while contributing to the broader EU-India economic corridor.
Our work is guided by the belief that strong partnerships are built on trust, transparency, and shared purpose. We will continue to support our members and stakeholders by facilitating meaningful connections, encouraging new ideas, and promoting opportunities that enhance competitiveness and sustainable growth.
I take this opportunity to thank our member Chambers, corporate members, partners, sponsors, government stakeholders, diplomatic missions, and well-wishers for their continued support and confidence. Their active participation has been central to the Council's journey and its contribution to strengthening EU-India relations.
As we look ahead, I am confident that the Council will continue to serve as a catalyst for deeper engagement, stronger partnerships, and impactful initiatives between EU and India. Together, we can build a more resilient, innovative, and prosperous future.
